A late activation of the Side Impact Protection System (SIPS) can result in an increased risk of injury to an occupant during a crash. The incorrect SRS module software may also cause the SRS warning lamp to illuminate and the message "SRS Airbag - Service Urgent" to be displayed. Correction: Dealers will update the SRS control module software.
