On certain motorhomes, the heating pad for the water tank could fail. As a result, the heating pad could overheat and melt.
A heating pad that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire.
To reduce the safety risk, Winnebago advises not to use the water tank heating pad until the recall repairs are completed. Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the water tank heating pad.
On certain motorhomes, the wiring harness for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged and cause the airbags not to work properly in a crash. Note: This problem would cause an airbag system warning message to display on the instrument panel. This is an expansion of recall 185 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-300).
An airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, re-route the seat wiring harness. If damage is found, the wiring harness will be repaired or replaced, as necessary.
