On certain motorhomes equipped with Kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by Kidde directly. On certain motorhomes, conventional travel trailers and fifth wheel travel trailers equipped with a Dometic Corporation refrigerator, a fatigue crack can develop in the boiler tube. This could allow the release of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source is present, which could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the refrigerator's boiler tube assembly.

On certain vehicles built on Spartan or Freightliner chassis and equipped with Michelin 255/80R22.5 XRV tires, the cords can fatigue if the tires are overloaded, underinflated or a combination thereof. This may result in a loss of control and could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealer will replace both front tires with new Michelin 275/70R22.5 XZA1 tires. These tires will provide a greater carrying capacity. This action is deemed a Safety Improvement Campaign and is not being conducted under the safety act.
